Dayton Peace Accords Dayton Peace Prize Maestro Zonic was invited to continue his mission in the Dayton Peace Accords and Dayton Peace Prize as Cultural Ambassador, Music Director and Composer in Residence. As a Cultural Ambassador from Sarajevo, Bosnia, Maestro Zonic composed and directed numerous events and concerts for the Dayton Peace Accords and Dayton Peace Prize. He designed cultural enrichment programs and concepts to expose Balkan culture to American culture and lifestyle. In honor of the First Recipient of the Dayton Peace Prize William Jefferson Clinton, he composed an original score, Symphony 'Entrata,' a Symphony for the fallen, to honor President Clinton and his succesful mission of final peace in Bosnia, performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) along with the score Dayton Peace Prize Aria. The First Dayton Peace Prize was created to honor one peacemaker who has made a significant contribution for peace. President William Jefferson Clinton is honored for his pursuit of lasting peace in the Balkans. “...Finally, we ought to give another round of applause to the magnificent young composer of the Symphony 'Entrata' that we heard. The award was presented at a ceremony at the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio by Bruce Hitchner, Chairman of the Dayton Peace Accords. Accompanying the certificate was the Peace Prize Medallion, Symphony 'Entrata' and a Michael Bashaw’s 'Continental Harmony' Sculpture.
