MARCH INTO THE SKY
A Musical Procession for Humanity
Award-winning creator, Maestro Dino Zonic, presents March into the Sky, a monumental orchestral procession conceived as an uprising of hope, unity, and shared humanity.
More than a parade, March into the Sky is a living symphony in motion.
At the front of this extraordinary spectacle is Maestro Dino Zonic, conducting his original orchestral rhapsody suite, March into the Sky. There are other selected compositions adopted for the parade performance.
In a world increasingly divided by conflict, fear, and isolation,
March into the Sky offers a bold and necessary response:
A public act of togetherness on an unprecedented scale.
It is designed to ignite the spark of our common humanity,
and remind us that unity is not merely an ideal,
it is something we can create and experience together.
March into the Sky is envisioned as a landmark cultural event capable of traveling from city to city and nation to nation. Each parade can be a defining moment for its host community while contributing to a growing movement, one orchestra, one city, echoing like the footsteps of civilization itself.
This is an invitation to musicians of every generation,
culture, faith, and background:
Let us march beyond division.
Let us march toward one another.
Let us march into the sky.
The audience will not only witness the procession, it will surrounds it, moves with it, and becomes part of its living energy.
ORCHESTRAL STRUCTURE
An orchestra of extraordinary scale up to 1,000 musicians (TBD,) advances through the streets, transforming the city into an immense open-air stage.
Strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussionists move together as one evolving musical force.
1st and 2nd strings, violas are marching along witrh woodwinds and brass while specially engineered parade trailers (floats) carry the cellists, double bassists, timpani, bass and tenor drums, taiko deums and other percussion instruments.
The mobile trailers (floats) will be equipped with secured performance chairs, protective safety rails, and specialized instrument supports, allowing the musicians to perform safely while gliding forward in perfect formation through the streets.
At the front, the conductor directs from a specially designed mobile podium. The video screens will be positioned on the mobile floats broadcasting the Maestro’s direction in real time.
Musicians across the procession can clearly follow his baton and remain synchronized as one unified ensemble.
March into the Sky brings together the majesty of a symphonic spectacle, the scale of a ceremonial procession, and the emotional power of a global humanitarian movement.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is only thing that ever has!"
- Margaret Mead
